The new conversation threads view in Outlook 2010 is a great feature, it already has improved my inbox view a lot. Here is a video from the Outlook team at Microsoft that shows what happens when a thread gets split into several threads. It took me a day to get used to it (old habits die hard) but now that I’ve got the hang of it, I wouldn’t want to miss it. Now I am hoping we will migrate to Exchange 2010 soon too, so that I get the threaded conversations on my smartphone too.

Innovation = Insight, Plan and Commercialization?
“When I use the word innovation, I think of three interlocking components:
- Insight or inspiration suggesting an opportunity to do something different to create value
- An idea or plan to build an offering based on that insight or inspiration
- The translation of that plan into a successful business (in simple terms, commercialization)”

Schedule view in Outlook 2010
The schedule view in Outlook 2010 looks like it could be really useful. I’ve been trying out the Beta version of Outlook 2010 at home with my private email account but not for scheduling meetings with others. Screenshot courtesy of the official blog of the Microsoft Outlook product team. More on schedule view here.
I already can’t wait to move to Outlook 2010 at work, just because of the threaded email conversation view. Not everyone likes it but just from using it on the private account, I know it will make my work inbox easier to manage.
Falschspieler
